Brex-ometer is a simple quiz which aims to re-engage people on their Brexit position, ahead of a potential people's vote.

The app displays 8 key topics and asks the user 2 - 3 simple questions to clarify their opinion on each topic.

Brex-ometer is a simple quiz which aims to re-engage people on their Brexit position, ahead of a potential people's vote.

The app displays 8 key topics and asks the user 2 - 3 simple questions to clarify their opinion on each topic.
Brex-ometer then calculates the users Brexit stance, regardless of bias, based on whether and how leaving the EU could actually affect their key concerns.

The app also aims to quickly educate people on the key topics in order that they have a more informed response to the questions posed.

To gamify and make this fun, the user is matched with a sample MP profile based on user's responses. The user is asked to opt-in to allow us to help them email their key concerns to their MP.

The app also includes a live counter displaying the number of Brex-ometer quizzes taken in their constituency, in relation to the number of complete quizzes required to make an impact on their MP (based on relative constituency size). Thus, incentivising the user with real-time, measurable data.

Another team at the event went on to initiate a viral Brexit ‘remain’ campaign tweeted by JK Rowling & Hugh Grant with a new map, which details the amount of money the European Union has spent on Britain in the past year and in which areas.

Circular Revolution aims to inspire all sectors of society to use mediation when managing and resolving disputes. Circular Revolution represents a network of mediators who who handle matters related to civil, commercial, workplace and family mediation cases.

During Covid-19 I set up a news outlet, which provided an alternative to mainstream media focused on democratic debate, solutions based journalism and data journalism. Our content was translated into 9 different languages; and at our height we had 80 volunteers supporting our news initiative.
